Why is it only up to level 50? Why not up to 100?

because not everyone will have had an appropriate team of non-box poke, and it gives everyone a chance to catch and train a new team. still 3 weeks to go, which is plenty of time to train to level 50, but for many not to lv 100.
the idea was for there to be no advantage for premium or old players who already have top poke, but even with exp share and premium exp boost, training to level 100 can take a loooong time.

since honedge can be found in the wild, and doublade evolved with dusk stone from the pokemart, yes, aegislash is permitted
