I do in fact like that the exact spawn coordinates are not displayed as this gives a better chance to players who dont hv many towns availiable to teleport. However, i belive if no one is able to find the spawn, due to a large map and a very vague direction, i believe spawns might lose their thrill and excitement that it brings to players.
My suggestions are as follows:
1)instead of the two extremes, maybe a more detailed description can be given such as northwest/northeast/southwest/southeast
2) the coordinates of the tile can be displayed after a certain amount of time, if said spawn has not been caught. the waiting time could vary depending on the rarity of the pokemon
