such pokémon are only available as server spawns at this time. since the rise region is not alola, pikachu will only evolve to kanto raichu when using a thunder stone on it, exeggcute cant be evolved manually to alolan exeggutor etc.
alolan vulpix, geodude and grimer are available in the wild, but currently due to a bug only alolan vulpix is able to evolve (stone evolution). the level up evolution for alolan geodude and grimer appears to be non-functional (alolan graveller will still evolve when traded, kanto variants are unaffected)
