My Munchlax wont level up

My munchlax cant level up at all his blue bar wont go up and when I check his stats the blue exp bar is at max so it should level up

pokemon in the slow exp group are caught with total exp far exceeding their current level, so it will need a lot of exp for the first level up. conversely, some pokemon in the medium-slow exp group start with more exp than they need for their current level, so level up as soon as they earn any. your munchlax is earning exp, and once it does finally level up for the first time the blue exp bar will start to display correctly
