Pokémon Twin-strike Tournament

Hi, I’m DRACOnBEAST , and I’m excited to announce the Pokémon Twin-strike Tournament– a Pokémon Battle Tournament!
If you’re ready to test your skills in a team-based format, then this is the tournament for you.

  • Format: 2 vs 2 Team Battles (Round Robin)
  • Pokémon Level: All Pokémon set to Level 50
  • Prize : Some legends and shines (looking for more sponsers)
  • Time : 1 week after atleast 8 teams get registered.
How It Works:
  • Each team will consist of 3 players.
  • Battles will follow a round-robin format, where every team faces each other.
  • The team with the most wins after all rounds will be declared the champion.
Rules:
  1. Pokémon Rules:
    • All Pokémon must be set to Level 50.
    • EV training is allowed, so feel free to train your Pokémon for peak performance.
    • One player can have only ONE Mega Evolutions or Legendaries .
  2. Battle Rules:
    • Players will battle in a single battle format, using up to 6 Pokémon.
    • Standard battle rules: no pure status moves, false swipe, fakeout.
    • Power Cap varies depending on Base stats(bst):
      • For 300 or less bst no Power cap (Can use any power moves). Ex: Pineco with 290bst can use self Destruct

    • The team must have 2 players.
    • Only one account per player is allowed (#noalts).
  5. Sportsmanship:
    • Respect your fellow trainers, and keep the battles fun and friendly!
    • Any kind of argument or mistake or using alt accounts might cause the whole team to get disqualified.

Battle Format:
  1. Two groups will be created where each group will have an equal number of teams.

question #2 on how this works
teams of 3, fight each other team once, round robin, makes sense
but each match between those teams
does each player from team A fight each player from team B, 9 fights total?
does each player from team A fight one player from team B, 3 fights total?
does the entirety of team A fight the entirety of team B, one 9v9 fight?

if a pokémon has exactly 500 bst can it use moves with power 120 or not
only part of the ruleset that is unclear
otherwise this looks very interesting
Given some examples near those powercap rules guess atleast one player in team can understand that.

After we get atleast 6 teams those teams will be divided into 2 groups where each group will be having 3 teams. There round robbin method will be used among teams not all players, so 3 players of one team will battle 3 players of other team.Team which leads with high score in both groups will move to finals.
Participants will understand clearly when fixtures are released :).

ok, that does clarify, but it could be written to be clearer (451 to 500, power cap 120; 501 to 550, power cap 100) without the example pokémon.
so 3 players of one team will battle 3 players of other team. Team which leads with high score in both groups will move to finals.
so, nine 3v3 battles per match? every player fights all 6 players from the other teams in their group? 27 battles per group, 54 battles in the first round?

Imagine group with 3 teams
Group A
Team 1 -Player1 , Player2, Player3
Team 2 -Player a , Player b, Player c
Team 3 -Player x , Player y, Player z
when team1 battle against team 2 it will be player1 vs player a, player 2 vs player b, player 3 vs player c
Since its round-robin team 1 should battle both team 2 and team 3 and same in case of team 2 and team 3.
So each team will get 2 battles in first round(2 battles per player).
This works like Bey blade(anime) tournament.
