This forum thread provides a brief about how to use the Pokemon Lab
Talk to Prof. Aspen in the lab. A window with a list of all the pokemon in your storage and your current team will be shown after he says "Hello, Have you found any new pokemon for me to research?"
In the window, select the pokemon you wish to sell to the Prof. The left bottom shows the cumulative amount you will be receiving from Prof. Aspen from the sale you are about to make. If you are happy with the amount, click "Confirm" to go ahead with the sale, else click "Cancel" to retain your pokemon.
The color below the price gives you a idea of the range of the IV% of the pokemon and hence you can wary and avoid accidentally selling the high IV% pokemon
Also note that there are some pokemon that require you to pay some amount in order for Prof. Aspen to buy them as they are not useful for his research. So only sell them if you wish to clear your storage (which has no particular limit).

Step 2: Select a Pokemon that you want to teach the move to, and after that select the move you want to be replaced
Step 3: Select the move you want to teach

Step 3: Enter the nick name and click on "Submit"

USING MOVE TUTOR
The Move Tutor will not only teach all gen 7 tutor moves, but a Pokemon's gen 7 level-up learn-set as well, up to its current level

NICK NAMING YOUR POKEMON
Step 1: Talk to the Nick Namer and click "Yes" when he says "Hello, would you like me to change the nick name of a pokemon for $5000?"
Step 2: Select a pokemon from you team that you want to nick name
Step 3: Enter the nick name and click on "Submit"
