Closed Pokemon not getting xp

My level 4 Swablu cant get xp and its killing pokemon help?

Neither does my Dratini level up how can i fix this?

pokes belonging to slow/erratic group have lesser exp than required for their current level. So once u faint few pokes, that gap is bridged and exp bar will start working normally. Until then the bar wont increase but the poke will continue to gain exp. U can check it in the value of exp by opening the poke profile


In short, just faint more pokes, u can observe that the exp is actually increasing, if u check the exp value in the profile

not the bar, check the value of exp before and after fainting a poke

Keep fainting until it shows in the exp bar, the number increases after every faint of the wild pokemon but the blue bar doesn't show any increase because for its level caught, the exp it has is very low so you need to get the sufficient amount of exp to make the bar rise. Be patient and grind, it will work.
