Closed The Pokemon Rise Elites Cup

Hello trainers, Kyreo here. Welcome to the Rise Elites Cup, where lvl 100 poke go all out against each other. Here are the things you need to know:

  • Team Format:
    • 3 Poke are to be registered and only those 3 can be allowed to be used.
    • Pokemon with a base stat total of above 620 are banned with a few exceptions as listed:Mega Blastoise, Mega Charizard X (Y is banned), and Mega Gyra.
    • Yes the Pseudos, Ultra Beasts, and Legendaries at and below 620 are not banned. (Ex. Necrozma, Pheromosa, Hydreigon, etc).
    • Box exclusive pokemon are allowed but only if they fit the above rule.
    • If you want to check if your leggie(s) are allowed, ask the question to me(@Kyreo33), @ChefMike, @Groot or use pokemondb to check the base stat total of the pokemon. It should be below at or below 620.
    • 140 and 150 power moves will be allowed, with the exceptions of Focus Punch, Sky Attack, Last Resort, Eruption, and Water Spout.
    • No hax moves(False swipe, Nuzzle, etc) nor Status moves (Confuse Ray, Will O Wisp, etc).
    • Yes, Snorlax and Rhyperior are allowed for those wondering.

  • Battle Format:
    • All the battles must take place in the presence of one of the staff members who shall also oversee the match and tournament as referee
    • No switching of Pokemon is allowed during a match so if the participant bring out one Pokémon for battle it shall be used until it faints before moving to their next Pokemon
    • The participant with last Pokemon standing wins the match
    • During the time of a battle, the participant must not have any other Pokemon in their team other than those part of their team
    • In a case such that the Pokemon wins a match and is poisoned or burnt after it's opponent is down, it's owner can put it inside of the poke ball till the opponent brings out their next Pokemon to use
    • Any situation of ghost-normal type immunity match up must be avoided in a situation if a normal type Pokemon is already placed in the field the opponent must not bring out a ghost Pokemon (or vice versa)
Prizes: 1st place Lucarionite, 2nd place Blastoisinite, and 3rd place 1 million pokedollars.

Deadline to register is Nov 21st(If less than 16 players people can still register till 16 spots are filled) Yes there will be a Waitlist too.
Battles will begin on the first weekend of December

Update: Due to the big month gap and chances of players not being active up till next year, we will be taking down the polls fornow.

y dont u make it a region-wise tourney? like a specific region for a player? its just a suggestion, if u think its bad, thn np

If there was atleast 10 regions in pokemon sure but that would limit the amount of people to join.
Not saying it's bad actually pretty good of an idea, but it has a requirement which makes it hard.
Not enough regions for 20+ people

chait did a tourney like tht so i asked...its just a suggestion btw...more thn 1 person can pick same regions
