*DISCLAIMER: When attempting a trade evolution be sure to exercise caution and your own good judgement, only trade with players who are worthy of your trust. Also be sure to make it abundantly clear that you are attempting a trade evolution lest the player you're trading with might assume they are receiving a gift.
There are three types of trade evolutions within Pokemon Rise. The traditional method where a Pokemon will evolve upon the completion of a trade. And the Held-item method where a Pokemon will evolve upon being traded, if and only if it is holding a specific item. The final and rarest method is where a pokemon will evolve only when traded with another specific pokemon, both pokemon will evolve upon completion of the trade, for the purposes of this guide this method will be referred to as the Dual-Evolution method. This guide will list the trade conditions necessary to achieve each trade evolution in Pokemon Rise.
