won't it be nice if we are allowed to do a pokemon nuzlocke in this game?

What is a Nuzlocke?

The Nuzlocke Challenge (commonly shortened to just "Nuzlocke") is a set of rules intended to create a higher level of difficulty while playing the Pokémon games. Many challengers feel that the rules also serve the purpose of encouraging the use of Pokémon the player would not normally choose and promoting closer bonds with the player's Pokémon. The rules are not an in-game function, but are self-imposed on the part of the player, and thus subject to variation.

basic rules:

1- The player may only catch the first wild Pokémon encountered in each area, and none else. If the first wild Pokémon encountered faints or flees, there are no second chances.
2- If the first encounter in the area is a Double Battle, the player is free to choose which of the two wild Pokémon they would like to catch but may only catch one of them.
3- Any Pokémon that faints is considered dead and must be released. The move Revival Blessing cannot be used to bring back a dead Pokémon.

it is actually a worldwide event so wouldn't it be nice to put it? it would be a great addition to the game. Plus, it would increase gameplay enjoyance as an optional hardcore to the players who want it.

if we are allowed to do a pokemon nuzlocke
you are allowed. nothing is stopping you from imposing such restrictions on yourself, and other players have tried to do the same.
they rarely succeed or go the distance, however, for a number of reasons:

-there are 1681 tiles not counting caves & other special areas. however, there are only a limited number of groupings that pokémon appear in, which repeat across the map. you're going to have many, many duplicates.
-having access to so many pokémon defeats the object of a nuzlocke. official games have maybe 2 dozen routes and a few caves. you might have 30 or so pokémon available to you, which become more important to you as you progress through a nuzlocke, and losses are felt much more. a rise nuzlocker might have 30 caterpie that can repeatedly take the place of ones that are lost.
-rise combat happens much more quickly, and faints are much more common. you are going to lose a considerable number of pokémon, and have an equally large pool of identical replacements, which again, defeats the object of such a "go friendship team" challenge.
-all wild pokémon are visible on the overworld. how does one decide what the "first encounter" is?
-revival blessing isnt even in rise yet. if it were, it wouldnt do anything, as many moves do not have their full effects coded yet.

as stated, you're free to try. perhaps set something up in the player tournaments section of the forum if you want to get some players to attempt concurrent runs competitively? not sure how one would judge it. best of luck, but the mechanics of rise dont really suit such a challenge, imo.
