Using non-ghost type moves on normal types don't do damage. Is that just how it's coded (Wood-hammer on Pidgey's, Gumshoos, Pidoves, etc)? Or do moves not have typing as a whole? It also extends to other types like Bug, Electric or steel. I can't damage weedles, togedamaru, electrodes, etc, but...
