I think that you should also be able to use Arrow Keys and WASD to move because some people might be used to it. Other people also might not even bother to read the instructions and try their own style of moving.
Nice suggestion. Because sometimes chat disturbs us to walk so we have to hide this, but if we hide this, we can't see some good trades or something. And also, sometimes our pokemon's attack changes into another attack when we want to go to the top left. So I support this idea.
