Closed Keeping the server afloat

So, now that old bread has left, i noticed that you said "we can only hope that the OD is motivated and sees value in keeping the game alive as running the server is quite costly"

I know that you guys don't have the keys to full code, but am still gonna throw this out here: If, in the event that the OD DOES wish to shut down the server due to cost, maybe we could implement a gold subscription system. I know that this has been suggested before, but now that there are server cost concerns and people leaving the team, I feel that this is becoming more and more viable for implementation. Even if you just pay $2 a week and get 250 gold or something, it would still bring in a more steady revenue.

Just an idea, I sincerely hope that you think on this, as I don't want to lose this community and nostalgic game.

Definitely. I can just spend my spare 2$ on random stuff or keep my favorite game afloat. I'll go with the second one 100%

The game is getting enough revenue to maintain the server. And brad didn't leave because of the liability game makes.
