Party pokemon change on page refresh

Occasionally when refreshing page, 1 or 2 of my party pokemon are swapped out with a pokemon in the PC that was previously in my party. This tends to happen after visiting a pokemon center, using the pc, and swapping out members of my party and then exploring the map. Often times I'll get stuck or my pokemon will glitch so I will refresh the page and the 5th and 6th mon will be replaced with older members.

this usually happens because the team info is saved periodically. So once u change ur team, if you refresh before the latest info got saved, server puts the old team back.

I'm not totally sure that's the right explanation, but this is what is my understanding
